Phola attorney donates about 42 school uniforms to learners

Nonyane Foundation founder, Mike Nonyane said the aim of giving back is to show love and encourage the learners to work hard, this was after donating about 42 school uniforms to Mshadza Secondary learners.

A hotshot attorney from a disadvantaged background in Kamajika is now making it his mission to give back to the less fortunate.
On March 11, Mike Nonyane handed out school uniforms to about 42 learners of Mshadza Secondary School. This community is one of the villages in the Ehlanzeni District that has a lot of cases of crime including kidnapping, human trafficking, and sexual violence. It is also prone to childheaded homes and teenage pregnancy.

Nonyane said he was motivated to start this initiative because he wanted to show love and encourage underprivileged learners not to hide because of their situation at home.”I want them to wear a school uniform with pride and know they will be something in the future. Among these learners, we must get someone who will replace me and start a foundation like ours then do what we are doing in the future. We are not just giving back but we are planting a seed.”
