IN PHOTOS: Police disperse protesters in Matsafeni to reopen roads
The police are on the ground in Matsafeni, patrolling the area.
The SAPS intervened in the Matsafeni area today, March 20, as protesters blocked the roads early in this morning using rocks and tree branches.
The police fired warning shots to disperse the protesters. They managed to open the road to allow commuters in and out of the area, while some police members are out patrolling the area.
