The learners of Salubindza Primary School received certificates and trophies for their academic excellence last year.

Salubindza Primary School in Numbi hosted its annual prize-giving to celebrate the top academic achievers of 2022.

The top 10 in each grade, from grades R to seven, were announced. The top three learners of each grade took centre stage on Friday 24 as they scooped up trophies and certificates in honour of their hard work.

The principal, Musa Nkosi, congratulated the pupils and wished them luck for 2023. He encouraged all of them to work harder this year to achieve quality results. Nkosi also handed out certificates of appreciation to the teachers.

“For this year, I want every learner to improve their marks in every subject. We need to be a school of excellence in the White Hazy 1 Circuit,” Nkosi said.
