Afrotraction and Sandz to release project in the month of love

The love musos have recorded a song together and are planning to embark on tours in Mpumalanga and eSwatini.

Known as love music greats in Mpumalanga and eSwatini respectively, Afrotraction and Sandz are taking over the Afro-soul scene with a blazing collaboration.

Mzwandile Moya and Sandziso Matsebula were recently in the Redamancy Studios in Mbombela cooking up a storm of a collaborative project, titled “Assurance”.

Mpumalanga News was invited at the studio during the production. Both the musicians were excited to reveal that the song will be released soon and that more projects with the two of them together are coming out.

“As many may know, we specialise in celebrating love. This is yet another love song. It is only relevant to do so because the month of love, February, is ahead of us. It is a great privilege for us to be able to meet in Mbombela to make our magic,” Afrotraction said.

The “Tigi Tigi” hitmaker, Sandz, said the collaboration comes at a time when the music scene in Mpumalanga and eSwatini is growing massively.

“It is only advantageous for us to cement the music relations between these neighbouring places. It is a beautiful song and the start of something great to come,” Sandz said.

The two vocally powerful musicians said they have more projects to be released this year.

“We are engaging on having music tours in Mpumalanga and eSwatini. We want to utilise the space that Afro-soul music has granted in both places, and more music will be coming from us,” Afrotraction said.

Sandz said 2023 is a year of restoration for his music career. “This project is my first one this year, and I am glad to say more are coming.
This is the time to make music, collaborate with more musicians and uplift upcoming artists,” he said.
