Lady Mo ventures into giving back to Pienaar community in 2023

The entertainment sensation said he will also entertain at as many funerals this year to get in touch his followers.

The TikTok and local entertainment sensation, Moses Sibiya, widely known as Lady Mo, plans to attend and perform at more funerals and to empower men and children in Pienaar.

Besides entertainment, Sibiya is venturing into establishing a non-profit organisation that will help provide basic needs and skills development to disadvantaged children and empower men to curb gender-based violence (GBV).

“I want to uplift my community this year. It saddens me seeing children with no proper school uniforms and lacking basic needs at their homes. These are our future leaders and we need to nurture them. I am also planning to have a talent school for young people to enhance their talents such as singing, dancing and modelling. I am going to be very busy this year,” he said.

“I want to focus on helping men to deal with GBV because of what I have seen happen in my community. Men commit suicide or kill their partners because they could not find alternative ways to deal with such situations and emotions. This is a cry for help,” Sibiya said.

The Mpumalanga Influencer, as he calls himself, said he had a busy 2022 with ventures in music and fashion modelling.

Sibiya said he is looking forward to gracing more stages and funerals all over the province and neighbouring countries.

“I never thought being an entertainer at funerals could put me on the map, and now, my followers want to see me. I have travelled to Limpopo and Mozambique so far, which was such a great experience. That is why I will be doing roadshows, attending as many funerals around the province as possible to get in touch with my followers,” he said.

“I also appreciate the opportunity that sesi Kede Mkhabela gave me last year to model at the first annual Mpumalanga Fashion, Arts and Crafts Affair. I really enjoyed it and I will be doing more modelling,” he said.
