Hazyview musician to set the festive season ablaze with a hit song

The young musician, TboY Lwazi, has worked with award-winning musicians before and aims to work with upcoming local artists.

Lwazi Chauke, better known as Tboy Lwazi, is ecstatic to have released a new single titled “Etjwaleni” with a South African recording and performing artist Ngozi SA, the “Dlala ngama shi shi” hitmaker.
Chauke’s newest gqom song is definitely going to turn up the heat this festive season.
“The aim of the song is to bring the gqom wave, which is more dominant in KwaZulu-Natal than Mpumalanga, and to make people dance. I composed a beat and when an idea came into my mind I did not hesitate. I just went to the mic, recorded the song and sent it to Ngozi SA, then a hit was produced,” he beamed.

Having started making music from a tender age, Chauke said he is grateful and owes everything he has achieved in this industry to the award-winning kwaito star, Shisaboy, who opened some doors for him.
“In 2019, I received a call from Shisaboy and it felt like a dream coming true. I started working with him and I produced his smash hit “Msavovo”, which received national recognition and was even played on Channel O,” he said.

“Being afforded the opportunity to work with award-winning artists helped me to grow musically and I aim to collaborate with more local artists.
