WARNING: Alert issued after the rise of Covid-19 cases in the City of Mbombela

Patients and employees might be required to wear mask all the time when in health facilities.

There is a circular from the Mpumalanga Department of Health which has been making the rounds. It cautions both the public and healthcare workers of the strong probability that Covid-19 cases in the City of Mbombela may further increase, and if not managed in time, might cause another outbreak during this festive season.
According to the circular, the City of Mbombela will have an influx of people to and from nearby countries and provinces, increasing the risk of Covid-19 cases.

The circular further states that all health facilities should exercise vigilance and caution by presenting Covid-19 health talks, screening of all patients in consultation rooms and testing suspected cases in order to curb the spread of Covid-19.
