Summer Blaze to hit Mbombela in December

A festival is lined up with great performances from some internationally acclaimed performers and a showcase of Mpumalanga's tourism.

Mbombela will be set ablaze with astounding entertainment from Mzansi’s greatest performers lined up for the highly anticipated 013 Summer Blaze Festival.

It will take place at the Mbombela Stadium on December 3 with performances from Nasty C, AKA, Mellow and Sleazy, Mdu Masilela and Robot Boii.

One of the organisers, Zakhele Mbatsane, said there are more internationally recognised artists with whom they are engaging to join the stage.

“I am excited to announce that we are also working on getting at least more than 15 Mpumalanga-based musicians and performers who will share the stage with these big artists,” Mbatsane said.

They are engaging with some government agencies that will support the extensive programme planned for prior to the festival to showcase tourism destinations in the province.

“The aim of the festival is to allow potential engagements to uplift our tourism and economic sector. There will be exhibition stalls available on the day of the festival at the stadium,” he said.
