Clau-Clau musician drops new album

Sandile Nyundu is dropping his new album on November 25.

The upcoming festive season has had many musicians releasing music for fans to enjoy during this time. A Clau-Clau local hip-hop artist and songwriter, Sandile Nyundu, aka Hanoch, is no exception. Nyundu is excited to release his album on November 25, titled King Of The Air II.

“I am over the moon about this project because I worked so hard on it and am still working on the final touches. The album features some of my singles such as ‘Sweetest Girl’ that is currently playing on DStv’s Channel O and and ‘Mama Celebrate’, which is dedicated to my mother,” he said.

“The project will also feature my latest single called ‘Amabala’. It is a hip-hop and amapiano hit that is taking the streets by a storm. The song talks about minding yourself and stop labelling people while not knowing their story. People are working every day and using their energy towards building themselves, while others are out there trying to defame them and utilise their energy to be destructive,” said Nyundu.

He will also release a music video for “Amabala” on the same day as the album.

“It is going to be a day of jubilation in Mpumalanga’s hip-hop industry. People will love this project because it features local favourites such as Mr Vee Sholo and Problematic,” he said.

His career took off after he released his first project titled “Light of the World” EP in 2017. He released the King of the Air EP in 2020.

He does not just perform hip-hop and amapiano, but also does gospel. It bagged him a nomination in the Barberton Music Excellency Awards for the 2021 Best Gospel Artist of the Year.
