IN PHOTOS: Mbombela’s St Mark’s school parades trophy after provincial play-offs triumph

In December they will compete in Durban to represent Mpumalanga at the national Kay Motsepe Schools' Cup finals.

St Mark’s International School has had a fabulous football year.


The players dominated the provincial schools’ football competitions and built quite a reputation for themselves.


The school celebrated its provincial play-off victory in the Kay Motsepe Schools’ Cup with the people of Mbombela on Friday October 7.


The school paraded the trophy in Mbombela. They started at Crossing Shopping Centre, proceeded to Riverside Mall and wrapped up their celebrations at i’langa Mall.

St Mark’s won the provincial play-off on September 24 to be crowned the champions of Mpumalanga. They thrashed Mzonini Secondary School 3-0.


They will represent the province at the national Kay Motsepe Schools’ Cup Championships in December at Durban.
