Hazyview boasts new Puma filling station

Puma unveils its new filling station on the R40 near Kiepersol.

A new Puma filling station has opened its doors on the R40 near Kiepersol.
It was formerly known as Viva Big 5.

This latest station is now part of a triad, with another in the Kruger National Park and one on the Panorama Route.
These have over time become the preferred filling stations for tourists who want to refill at petrol pumps off the beaten track, without being stuck in traffic.
The new filling station has been rebranded to Puma and features a clean and modern look with improved customer service and cleaner fuel.

It is owned by prominent businesswoman Martha Makhubedu, who stressed that Puma Fuel, especially the PumaMax version, has been designed to keep up with the latest vehicle technologies to improve performance, clean engines and extend the mileage of cars.
“The good thing about our new filling station is that it will also feature a clean and cool convenience shop, Puma Express, offering fresh products and a Big 5 liquor store on the same premises, a one-stop shop where customers can get everything they need on the same premises.”
She said the place is safe and convenient for all kinds of vehicles and will provide motorists with a proper rest stop during their travels. The shop is open 24 hours a day and the forecourt is large enough to easily accommodate bigger trucks.

This new filling station has created 22 jobs for locals, mainly unemployed youth.
“Since I joined Puma Energy as a dealer, I have been empowered more than ever. Puma cares about its stakeholders and those communities in which it operates. More families are benefiting because of job creation, and Puma Energy has empowered black women like me from disadvantaged communities,” concluded Makhubedu.
