Horror crash outside Nkomazi Plaza under investigation

Two articulated trucks collided head-on at high speed, killing one driver.

A truck driver was burnt beyond recognition during a collision between articulated trucks and a vehicle between Nkomazi Plaza and Kaalrug on Monday August 29.

The spokesperson for the Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Moeti Mmusi, said the two articulated trucks collided head-on at high speed. As a result of the impact, one of the trucks caught alight, killing the 40-year-old male driver. A third truck and a sedan were also involved in the same crash.
