Numbi musician launches into amapiano music

Graca Ndlovu is shaping up to be the amapiano icon she has always dreamt of being.

Inspired by her favourite amapiano artist, Daliwonga Matiwane, Graca Ndlovu is entering the music industry with her own style.

Thirsty to be part of the revolution of this music genre, the bubbly vocalist and performer does not want to be left behind.

She is ready to captivate listeners with her pure and enticing voice that she believes suits all kinds of music genres, including amapiano.

Though growing up singing in church, she believes this kind of music speaks to her better than any other.

“I love the vibe amapiano has, and why not take advantage of that? I want to set trends and make people dance to my songs on TikTok and have fun. I have been told that I am a captivating singer and performer. I would sing in front of the church and would be sensational. I believe this childhood experience shaped my music journey. Moreover, I started writing my own music when I was a teenager and performing at various events around my home.”

I just got the chance to do my EP, which is a collaboration with a local record producer, Clinton Mbatha. It has about six songs of which most carry strong and motivating messages, while some are groovy and fun,” she said.

She said the EP will be released some time before the end of the year.
