Zamekile Nkosi recently published a book to inspire more young women to wear their crown with confidence. The book, titled To the Princess in You: Rise Up and Claim Your Crown, is directed at all women, young and old, of any background.

“I was inspired by a lot of things. But most importantly, by the youth in KaBokweni and surroundings that had lost hope because they lack confidence and information. They copy other people’s ways of living instead of being themselves and being content with what they have,” she said.
In the book, Nkosi encourages women to be independent and to allow things to manifest at their own time. “Being educated is very important. Some life lessons need intelligent reasoning. Women have to remember that everything comes with time, and they must never rush life. It is very sad to see people quitting school for short-term benefits. If you get an opportunity to study, take it with both hands.”
Nkosi explained that her book can help women navigate through life. “Whenever we get hurt, our crown loses its glory. This book is here to stop all that and will help every lost princess find her way back home. The book has only one message, which is to rise up and claim your glory.”

It took her one and half years to write the book and she enjoyed every moment of it.
Her message to all women is that they are a strong tower for men and children, and there is nothing stronger than a broken woman who has rebuilt herself.
