Police launch a manhunt for suspect of brutal killing of sisters

Two murder cases were opened.

The Mpumalanga police are on a manhunt for a man suspected to be behind the murder of two sisters, one being a sergeant of Ngodwana Police Station.

Information from a provincial police spokesperson, Brig Selvy Mohlala, indicated that the incident had taken place on Sunday night, May 15, when an argument between the male suspect and his girlfriend, Marcia Mazibuko (43), broke out, and the woman’s sister, Sgt Pretty Mazibuko (42), as well as two other females reportedly intervened.

“It is said the man left only to return later, armed with a firearm. He allegedly shot his partner, Marcia, as she attempted to flee for her life in a blue BMW that had earlier been driven by the suspect.
