Crowning Miss Mpumalanga tickets still available

Crowning Miss Mpumalanga is one of the province’s flagship shows that gives young women an opportunity to showcase their beauty and talent, while at the same time empowering them.

Queen of the dance floor, Makhadzi and the award-winning Jaziel Brothers, will headline this year’s annual Crowning Miss Mpumalanga.

Billed for this Saturday at the Communio Auditorium behind i’langa Mall, the organisers of this annual event said patrons can expect nothing but top-of-the-range entertainment.

This year, the pageant enters its 12th season since it was conceptualised, and the founder and CEO of Mzimari Productions, Gugu Nyarenda, said they have gone all out to host one of the greatest extravaganzas ever seen in the province.

“As the show continues to grow in leaps and bounds, we are compelled not to do things and host the event the way we used to. Every year, we try harder to bring something fresh. This is the reason why we are bringing in top artists of the country to entertain our guests,” said Nyarenda.

She stressed that the show will be hosted under Covid-19 protocols to minimise the risks of spreading the virus.

“We are still in the midst of Covid-19 and we must not drop our guard against this virus. The show will be hosted under strict protocols with the wearing of face masks mandatory inside the venue. We are doing this to keep our patrons, finalists and artists safe,” added Nyarenda.

She said last-minute tickets are still available. Normal tickets are R150 and VIP tickets are R450.
