Msimbitsi Scolomane joins Ligwalagwala FM
This year, the Mpumalanga-based station celebrates 40 years of broadcasting.
The SABC owned siSwati radio station, Ligwalagwala FM, is known for bringing new voices to its listeners every year, and this year is no different.
The station has just announced its new presenter, Sifiso Lubisi, also known as Msimbitsi Scolomane.
The 42-year-old vibrant Lubisi takes the place of the award winning Lwesuka Lutfuli’s Stanford Mhlanga, the cultural show’s presenter known as Malume.

Lubisi hosts Lwesuka Lutfuli every Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00.
“I would like to thank the management of Ligwalagwala FM for this opportunity. All I promise the listeners are good radio and preserving the siSwati language and culture,” Lubisi said in a statement.
Since the beginning of this month, listeners have enjoyed the shift of the Kusile Mzansi breakfast show, which runs from 06:00 to 09:00 on weekdays. As the radio station celebrates 40 years of broadcasting, listeners are encouraged to stay tuned for giveaways and lots of fabulous prizes to be won throughout the year.
