This event was led and hosted by the founder of the academy, Master Job Magagula, who holds a fifth-degree black belt of Tae Kwon Do International, a fifth-degree black belt master of the American Iron Dragon organisation and a bronze medal from the 2013 Tae Kwon Do International World Championship.

Members of the Radiant Taekwondo Academy had the opportunity to let their friends and loved ones experience martial arts.
This was during the academy’s open day held at the Army Support Base Nelspruit on Saturday March 19, opened to everyone young and old, for free.

“The aim was to get existing members to bring their friends in order to introduce them to the world of martial arts. This way they can test it and see what it is all about. We were teaching them taekwondo as a form of self-defence, physical fitness and philosophy. We saw people from different age groups enjoying themselves during the session,” he said.
