Hazyview gospel star back with another inspiring album

An up-and-coming gospel music sensation, Sylvester Dalton Nkosi, has finally released his muchawaited second EP, Akahluleki.

HAZYVIEW – This talented singer and composer has been hard at work cooking up this sizzling eight-track EP which is a must-listen.

Nkosi grew up in a Christian home in Hazyview. He was influenced by his parents who shaped his idea of what being a good Christian is all about. But even though he grew up in the church, it was only later in life that he experienced the presence of God.

The 28-year-old star’s first album was well received in 2019. This motivated him to continue to compose his music. “I released my first single, ‘Igazi lomhlatjelo’, in 2019 and it did well.

I was excited and humbled by the fact that it was well received by the general public and gospel music lovers,” said Nkosi. He said singing is his first love. “Singing, especially gospel music, is my passion and it helps me to connect more with God. So far it has been a great journey.

In 2021 I was nominated in the Mamma Awards and the Mpumalanga Gospel Music Awards,” he added. This versatile muso believes he has a bright future in the industry.

“I am inspired by the late Sifiso Ncwane and Benjamin Dube. I believe I will soon fly as high as these two greatest artists. I want to see myself growing in the music industry,” he said.
