Department of Education reveals Mpumalanga’s best overall grade 12 learner’s new car

The top grade 12 learner in 2021 in Mpumalanga will be getting a brand-new Toyota Agya. The Mpumalanga Department of Education revealed the car on its Facebook page on Wednesday January 19.

The learner’s name will be announced on Friday January 21. According to the department, the learner is already invited to attend the announcement of the NSC Examination Results at the University of Mpumalanga.

The Mpumalanga’s MEC for education, Bonakele Majuba, said the top learner will also receive some other prizes.
“The top learners will receive bursaries to further their studies at any university in the country. The bursary includes payment for tuition, accommodation and books, and provides a monthly stipend.

The event is supported by a long list of business leaders. As such, the top learners will receive a number of tokens that include laptops, tablets, mini refrigerators, microwave ovens, and so on.”
