A new year, a new Drive Show team on RISE fm
Mpumalanga's rapidly and consistently growing radio station, RISE fm is bringing in the new year with an exciting tweak to its flagship Drive Show team.
MBOMBELA – Experienced presenter Cheese Masango moves back to peak-time radio as from this January and now joins regular co-host Lilly Makofane on a full-time basis each weekday.
Ever since joining this station, Cheese has proven a consistent presenter and enjoys massive support from loyal listeners.
At one stage he co-hosted the breakfast show with the ever energetic and charismatic Mpumi Mbethe.
“It’s new beginnings for a new year,” said station manager Patrick Bogatsu.

“Cheese has proven to be an excellent foil for the effervescent Lilly when standing in on the show in recent times, and the two gel very well together. As a team they will definitely provide listeners with the professional sound and style they have become accustomed to on Mpumalanga’s provincial radio station,” continued Bogatsu.
Cheese moves from Weekend Breakfast, which he hosted for the past year, and is excited to once again sit in the hot seat on one of RISE fm’s weekday peak- time shows.
