Galaxy aim to start winning

With the DStv Premiership’s second round at hand, TS Galaxy FC find themselves in need of maximum points, especially when playing at home.

Galaxy have so far played 14 games, including last night’s encounter against Chippa United, and yet are below the 15-point mark. Before last night’s game against the Chilli Boys, Galaxy were in position 15 on the table with only nine points.

They are followed in the 16th spot by Swallows FC, also with nine points. Galaxy will play their 15th match against Orlando Pirates, which is their final game of the first round, on December 11 at the Orlando Stadium.

The home team have been struggling to produce the desired results since this new season kicked off in August. They have only managed to register two wins, three draws and eight defeats, making them the only team so far with the highest defeat in the league. But even with this scorecard, the Rockets’ head coach, Sead Ramović, believes that all is not lost, since there are 15 more games and 44 points to play for.

“We are a team and when we win, we win as a team, and if we lose, we also lose as a team. I don’t want to single out individuals. “It is going to be a difficult game against Chippa United and we have to be at our best. There’s no need to press any panic buttons, we have to keep going. We have to win the next game and we are back in business,” Ramović said. Coach Ramović will be spoiled for choice as one of the star players, Marks Munyai, has concluded his three games’ suspension
