“An American human rights activist, Dr Martin Luther King, once said, ‘Beautiful music is the art of the prophets that can calm the agitations of the soul. It is one of the most magnificent and delightful presents God has given us.’ These words will certainly give meaning to the annual gospel concert which will be hosted as a build-up to the much-loved Mbombela Jazz Festival. The main objective of the festival is to promote social cohesion, nation building, tourism and economic development,” said the event’s organiser, Anele Mbasane.
