The South African Traditional Music Achievement (SATMA) Awards launch and nominees’ announcement event was held at the Premier Hotel The Winkler.
The Mpumalanga provincial government, SATMA Awards and SABC are the hosts this year.
It will be held under the theme “My Culture, Your Culture, One Nation”.

The SATMA Awards’ mandate is to unite the different ethnic groups and preserve, develop and promote the heritage by finding innovative ways and to stay relevant with the current times.
