Making a difference in the lives of children is one of the main objectives of Child Welfare Nelspruit. This local non-profit organisation (NPO) that provides services for communities in and around Mbombela is in need of baby essentials.

“We are in need of Infacare baby formula 1-3, baby nappies sizes 1-5, clothes for girls and boys aged seven to 12. We are in dire need of grocery donations for the families who assist by taking care of children that are placed under the organisation,” said Nomfundo Myeza, the NPO’s manager.

“The items we have are running out and we need all the help we can get. We have managed to get these children temporary, safe, care parents. This is a process we do before they are adopted,” she explained. As a way to make ends meet, the NPO hosts various fundraising events, but due to Covid-19 regulations it has not been able to reach its targets.
