The Prince SA set to release debut

After six years of steadily building his name and working with some of the biggest stars in the South African music industry, Mpumalanga’s own prince of house music, The Prince SA, is set to release his long awaited album.

The Prince is one of Mpumalanga’s most talented DJs and music producers, and having worked with some of Mzansi’s bestin the music industry, such as Shota, Dr Moruti, Zano and Amanda Mo, you can rest assured that his debut album is going to be lit and out of this world.

The Prince, who is also a Ligwalagwala FM presenter, will release his album in the first week of October. It is a 10-track album, titled Rhythm of Africa, which expands his collaborative footprint, partnering with super talented Oge from Nigeria, multiple award winner Afrotraction, Mr Chillax and Masikane. His debut album comes after having released three successful EPs, “My World” released in 2018.

This EP contained the hit single “Don’t Weigh Me Down” which made it to number one on the #LFMtop20 at Ligwalagwala FM, and got major airplay at other major national radio stations such as Metro FM, UKHOZI FM and more. In 2019, The Prince SA released, “My World Remixes” EP and “Buyelekhaya Phakza” remix featuring Indlovukazi, which also did well and went all the way to the number one spot on the Ligwalagwala FM charts. His third EP,

“Masterpiece” was released in 2020 featuring the hit single “Welele” featuring Ziqo from Mozambique and Lihle Bliss. Before all these EPs, The Prince SA released a hit single titled “Smile”, featuring Shota, in 2015 which opened numerous windows of opportunities for this young and talented DJ.

The Prince SA will give his fans and party animals a taste of his new music when he performs at the annual #GSD (Game Shut Down) scheduled for December.

The Prince, who is also a Ligwalagwala FM presenter, will release his album in October The #GSD is an annual music event that takes place every December at Game White River and is meant to profile young, up and-coming musicians from in and around the area, mixing it up with other prominent musicians from Mpumalanga.
