“We wish the Mahlangu royal family and the entire Ndzundza Mabusa Traditional Council strength during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.” “Ikosi Mahlangu was very instrumental in the bolstering of traditional leadership’s role in local government and he fought relentlessly to infuse constitutional democracy and ideals of cooperative governance. His presence will be dearly missed. The institution of traditional leadership in Mpumalanga and South Africa will never be the same again,” said Shiba.
