Fitness instructor makes it to the Top 8

Bubbly Lindiwe Mashigo has just been announced one of the top-8 finalists for this year’s edition of Ms Unseen International.

Mashigo will represent Mpumalanga Province in this annual, internationally acclaimed competition.

“I believe I have what it takes to become the next Ms Unseen International. But I will not be able to do this just on my own. I need support from all the people of the province by voting for me until the final stages of the competition,” said Mashigo.

This competition is all about empowering women in the business sector and celebrating uniqueness and all body types while making a positive impact. “I entered this pageant simply because I wanted to make a change.

Well, I have always liked modelling but was limited because of the terms and conditions of other pageants. Unlike this one in which everyone is welcome to participate,” continued Mashigo. Mashigo, a passionate fitness guru, qualified for the top-30 of this competition and has been climbing up the ladder ever since. Through her business venture, Livic Fitness, Mashigo runs human trafficking and gender-based violence awareness campaigns.

“This is my way of ploughing back to my communities. I just don’t focus on my fitness business, but I do my part in helping and healing others,” she added. Mashigo is currently the brand ambassador for Khwela Step. “I didn’t become the product of my circumstances, but I became the product of my choices. I will continue to use my powerful voice through my fitness lifestyle to communicate my story to change lives, to save lives and to make a positive contribution to the communities at large,” she closed.
