Mkhondo residence to benefit from Mpumalanga UIF services

The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), an entity of the Department of Employment and Labour, cordially invites members of the public to a two-day taking services to the people campaign to the community of Mkhondo.

The following services will be rendered assisting with Covid-19 Ters enquiries, taking of UIF applications, processing of payments, resolving UIF enquiries, and claims assessment. 

According to Margaret Mazibuko, Mpumalanga Chief Director, Provincial Operations (CDPO), this campaign is in support of the strategy of reducing long queues at labour centres and the fight to contain the spread of COVID-19 by bringing the services closer to the people.

“Services will be rendered on-site and people who wish to register new claims will be assisted. Furthermore, people with outstanding complaints or claims will be assisted on the spot,” said Mazibuko.

The event will take place from Thursday to Friday from 09:00 till 16:00 at Mall@Mfula, in Piet Retief (Mkhondo).

Members of the public that wish to be assisted on the above-mentioned services are encouraged to bring along the following documents, ID documents/Valid Passport, Completed UI-19 form and Salary Schedule, Proof of residence and Bank stamped UI-2.8 form.

The service delivery campaign will be managed in compliance with COVID-19 regulations.
