Ligwalagwala FM Shakes Nkuna is not dead

Shakes, also known as Mshekesheke, laughed off the news as fake and assured his followers that he was alive and kicking

No need to be shaken over Shakes’ ‘death’ Rumours of the death of Ligwalagwala FM presenter of Sidla Ngaloludzala, Shakes Nkuna, are not true. This morning Facebook posts ‘#ShakesNkuna RIP’, left many of his followers sending condolences message to the presenter and close family.

In a telephone interview with Mpumalanga News, Shakes, also known as Mshekesheke, laughed off the news as fake and assured his followers that he was alive and kicking. He revealed that rumours of his death were not new.

“It happened two years ago when listeners even sent their condolences on air only to find that I was alive. In my culture such utterances means that someone will live longer. I want to assure the my followers, friends and the community at large that I am alive, healthy and there is nothing wrong with me,” he said. He was at his home in Mzinti, Nkomazi Local Municipality, this morning.
