Local learners enjoy Dream Kids Holiday Programme

Eddie Bhila, the recreational coordinator of Touch a Million, said the Dream Kids Holiday Programme is a subsidiary programme under the Touch a Million NPO.

This programme is currently taking place at Gutjwa Primary School and will run for five days. It focuses on 500 learners and youth, ages nine to 18, from drop-in centres, Isibindi centres, sisterhood tribes and surrounding partner schools within the Gutshwa area in Ehlanzeni District.

The objective of the programme is to keep the children active and engaged with arts, social and recreational activities. This includes interactive psychosocial sessions, providing them with a safe and engaging environment to interact, socialise and engage with their peers over the school holiday period.

Eddie Bhila, the recreational coordinator of Touch a Million, said the Dream Kids Holiday Programme is a subsidiary programme under the Touch a Million NPO.

“Touch A Million is an empowerment vehicle for change for young people in Mpumalanga. It is a regional platform for young people to assert their power in numbers, energy and imagination, to transform Mpumalanga into a beacon of hope,” he explained.
