Help Mr Option win the City Awards

Mr Option was previously nominated for the hip-hop artist in the Mzansi Arts and Media Awards and Golden Arts and Media Awards.

Rapper and songwriter, Mthokozisi Methule, aka Mr Option, has been nominated for best newcomer of the year in the City Awards 2021. The 23-year-old hip-hop and Afro artist started his musical journey in 2017. He draws inspiration from a Gauteng-based rapper and songwriter, Lehlogonolo Ronald Mataboge, aka A-Reece.

Mr Option had released three songs from his EP, T.I.M.E. The EP consists of five songs. He featured Prey flow, Vrr vay, Luner Eno and Max dé vocalist. He made headlines when he told the Sun Buzz about “Paper” featuring Prey flow, the third track on his EP. “This talks about everything I was going through at the time. Including my wish for my music to be played on air and to get media interviews,” he said. This rapper is planning to shoot a promo video of his upcoming second EP soon. Mr Option was previously nominated for the hip-hop artist in the Mzansi Arts and Media Awards and Golden Arts and Media Awards.
