• Do not show up late It is important for you to be there at the very beginning and greet people.
• Do not forget to have fun It is important to have fun because the event comes once a year and you get to reward yourself.
• Do not talk business It is not time to talk business just focus on having fun.
• Do not ask for a pay increase It is not the time or the place. You have to visit the manager’s office for that.
• Do not overload your plate It does not look good if your hands and/or mouth are too full throughout the party to greet people and shake hands.
• Do not leave too early Staying for the long haul shows people you care.
