Rape accused granted bail
The pastor from Kutollo, who doubles as a traditional healer, was recently granted bail by the Sekhukhune Magistrate's Court.
Lucas Happy Moretsele was arrested on November 8 for the alleged rape of a 20-year-old learner from one of the high schools in Kutullo.
The accused was granted R1 000 bail and his case was postponed to March 23, 2021 for further police investigations.

According to the police, the victim had on September 18, allegedly visited the pastor for consultation and in the process, the suspect allegedly raped her.
Col Moatshe Ngoepe, Limpopo provincial police spokesperson, said the victim became confused and terrified by the entire situation but realised at a later stage that she had been tricked and raped by the man she trusted to heal her. Ngoepe added that the victim reported the matter to the police on November 7 and a case of rape was opened.
