Police arrest alleged mashonisa in connection with woman’s murder

Matsulu SAPS have arrested a second suspect in connection with the gruesome murder of a woman from the area. Const Nkomozabo Khumalo, spokesperson for Matsulu Police Station, said the suspect was found in Mbuzini after the SAPS had received a tip-off regarding his whereabouts. He is expected to make his first court appearance today on charges murder.

On October 6 he allegedly stabbed the victim of Matsulu C, several times on the neck with a sharp object after she had failed to pay money she owed him.- According to a source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, the deceased initially had an argument with the loan shark’s wife who then called her husband. – “He grabbed Khoza and stabbed her several times with a sharp object in her neck before he and his wife fled the scene,” said the source.- The suspect’s wife was arrested on the same day.
