Three people, including the driver, were killed when a bakkie in which they were travelling overturned on the D421 towards Sudwala this morning. The incident happened at about 07:30.

“Two passengers sustained serious injuries while six others sustained mild to moderate ones.They were transferred to Rob Ferreira Hospital for medical attention,” said Moeti Mmusi, spokesperson for community safety, security and liaison.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
