Alleged wife killer’s case postponed in the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court

Ulrich Mabunda's counsel surrendered his passports and his bail conditions were amended.

Ulrich Mabunda (41), who faces a murder charge, appeared in the Nelspruit Magistrate’s court today. He is accused of fatally shooting his 39-year-old wife, Tebogo, 10 times on May 10.

The court ordered that Mabunda surrender his passports and eased his bail conditions. He had previously been reporting to the Nelspruit Police Station every day.

This was amended to three days per week, including Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 07:00 to 19:00. The case was postponed to October 28,  pending the forensic and post-mortem results.
