Motsepe blesses Stintile Secondary pupil with bursary

Vangile Ngazi was chosen as one of the best two pupils in the country after her presentation on the role that young leaders can play in solving socio-economic issues in South Africa. 

A 16-year-old matric learner of Sitintile Secondary School is one of two proud recipients of bursaries from the Motsepe Foundation.

Vangile Treasure Ngazi impressed the judges at the Patrice Motsepe Foundation Competition recently held in Sandton.

She was chosen as one of the best two pupils in country after her presentation on the role that young leaders can play in solving socio-economic issues in South Africa.

The top two learners received R50 000 for their schools and bursaries from the Motsepe Foundation to pursue careers of their chosen field at tertiary level.

“The competition was an eye-opener and made me realise my full potential. I have great plans to do actual work around the topic I wrote about. I learned a lot from this competition, including the fact that to unleash your potential you need to not focus on your fears.

This competition showed me that I am talented when it comes to public speaking and tackling global issues,” she said.

Vangile hopes to study medical sciences and further her career in the economic industry.
