Two Mganduzweni teenagers drown at local dam
The police have opened an inquest docket.
Two teen girl cousins , aged 15 and 18, tragically lost their lives this afternoon when they drowned at eMabulala Dam in Mnganduzweni.
The incident happened 13:40.

According to Sgnt Naniki Nonyana, spokesperson for Masoyi police, the girls were in company of two other girls at the river to wash laundry.
It is alleged one of the girls slipped in the dam, and the second and third also slipped in while trying to help the first one out.

“The fourth one managed to pull one of the girls out of the dam. They then rushed to call for help from neighbouring homes.
Unfortunately girls, who are cousins, died in the dam,” said Nonyane.P
Police have opened an inquest docket.
