Premier refutes poisoning allegations

An article alleges she has fallen foul to the province’s underhand political tendencies that have seen also current Deputy President, David Mabuza also being poisoned in 2015 ending up in Russia where he was eventually healed.

MBOMBELA- Premier Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane has lambasted a national newspaper which published today she was sick for the past few weeks after allegedly being poisoned.

It said in a statement: “The premier wants to express with great disappointment, allegations of ill health as published in a national print media publication on Sunday, March 29, 2020.

“The Premier of Mpumalanga Province wishes to re-iterate the fact that the allegations outlined in the publication are entirely baseless and are  not informed by facts.

“The Premier of the Province is in excellent health and remains committed to ensuring that Mpumalanga Province enforces compliance with regulations aimed at flattening the curve of covid-19 pandemic,” it stated.

The publication also listed other politicians who were also poisoned which included former mayor of Gert Sibande District Andries Gamede at a function in 2008; The late James Nkambule In 2010; and former Minister of State Security Bongani Bongo.
