Seven suspects are expected to appear in the Balfour Magistrate’s Court today for murder of a 58-year-old man and other related charges.
A popular owner of a funeral parlour, Jabulani Nkosi was killed at his home on January 19, 2020. It was later discovered that his wife, mother in-law and other suspects were allegedly part of the plot who orchestrated his death.

According to reports, Nkosi, was at his home when suspects entered his house and fired several shots at him before fleeing the scene. On February 5, police arrested the deceased’s mother-in law, Maria Naniwe Nkabinde(64) who appeared in court on the same day and was remanded in custody.
The other suspects include Nkosi’s 44-year old wife, a teenage girl and four others who are expected to apply for bail today.
