On Friday the auditions will be held at Emnotweni here in Mbombela from 10:00 to 17:00.
Mzimari Productions’ CEO, Gugu Nyarenda, said, “This is the beginning of a long road to search for the ultimate 10th queen, because 2020 marks our 20th anniversary as a pageant, hence we are all out to exert our very best in identifying a queen who will suit the occasion and celebration. We have upped our game this time around, by bringing on board experienced judges on our panel who will catapult the proceedings to national and international standards.”

“In Kunene we have a person who has undergone those stages as a contestant and a victor, too.
“I will not reveal the other judges, for now, but it is no surprise because we have selected, among them, those who have traversed the journey with us for the past nine years. We are at the same time celebrating our 10th anniversary as a company for reaching this milestone. I must say, that our 10-year journey has been a trying one as we grew from strength to strength each year.

“When we embarked on this journey, we literally started from bottom to top. As a result, we have improved each year with the prizes and overall packages and developing the young women in their stature and families in the process. The 10th anniversary is not the last mile, but a celebration of our success and marks the beginning of bigger things to come,” concluded Nyarenda.
