It is alleged that he raped his daughter on August 6 while taking her to her mother and stepfather.

A parolee briefly appeared in the Masoyi Periodical Court for the rape of his 16-year-old daughter and other women from Masoyi.

He was not asked to plead to three charges of rape, 21 charges of robbery and two charges of pointing firearms to victims during his court appearance on October 1.
It is alleged that on the day in question, the suspect’s daughter visited her father’s parental side for a certain ritual to be performed for her.

According to the charge sheet, her grandparents told her to check with her father if he had bought materials needed for the ritual and she found that he hadn’t.

The teenager spent the afternoon with her father who accompanied her to her mother’s place later in the evening. It is alleged that on their way to the girl’s mother’s place, the suspect pointed her daughter with a firearm and threatened to kill her should she shout. He then raped her and took her to the mother’s place where the victim’s stepfather was angry with him. He also threatened him with a firearm.

The suspect was kept in custody. He will appear again in court on November 5. Investigations still continue.
