Primary school boys from KaNyamazane accused of sexually assaulting girls

It is alleged that school girls were sexually assaulted in their class before the school closed for the September holiday.

KaNyamazane police have opened a case of sexual assault following a sex ordeal involving minors from a local school.

“We had opened a case of sexual assault. Two young boys are allegedly responsible for the assault and will be taken to social workers for evaluation,” said Sgt Gerald Sedibe, spokesperson for the station.

A parent, who called Mpumalanga News on condition of anonymity, alleged that her nine-year-old girl and another girl from her class were sexually assaulted in their class before the school closed for the September holiday.

“I was called by other children who saw the boys forcing the girls to lie on top of desks while others pushed them down’. taking turns raping them,” said the mother for one of the victims.
She added that teachers from the school did not help them much regarding what really happened. “When I further questioned my daughter about how this happened, she revealed that it was not for the first time for them to be raped by the boys. She said it had previously happened in the school’s toilets and was afraid to report it. We are just waiting for the school to open so that this matter can be further investigated. We want those boys to be expelled,”she said.

The mother said a teacher from the school told her and the other girl’s parents how naughty the boys were. It is alleged that some of them show off their private parts in full view of the class while the teacher presents a lesson.
