Sam Holdings manager’s murder suspect appears in court

The case was postponed for his bail application to September 26.

A 26-year-old man appeared in the Bethal Magistrate’s Court yesterday in connection with the murder of Sam Holdings general manager, the late Nkosinathi Emmanuel Ngcongco (30).
The suspect, Eugene Nkosi, briefly appeared in court on charges of murder.

His arrest comes after Ngcongco was killed with two shots on his chest and one to his head while he was on duty at the truck depot.

It is alleged that two men were seen entering the premises. One of the suspects produced a firearm, shot Ngcongco and disappeared. Later on the same night, the investigation led to the arrest of Nkosi.
