Four suspects aged between 15 and 22 were arrested in Tonga, Block C, for possession of suspected stolen electric cables and batteries.
According to Capt Magonseni Nkosi, the suspects were found in possession of electric cables and 12 Vodacom batteries worth an estimated value of R80 000.

“The electrical cables are believed to have been stolen from a local hardware. Investigations continue as preliminary investigations indicate that more suspects are involved,” said Nkosi.
The suspects briefly appeared in Tonga Magistrate’s Court and the case was postponed to Friday.
