Male tourist dies at Kruger National Park

Early indications are that the driver lost control and drove into a tree.

A male visitor died when his car rammed into a tree at Punda Maria Section of the Kruger National Park (KNP) on Saturday.

According to the Sanparks spokesperson, Ike Phaahla, the accident occurred on the Dzundwini gravel road. “Early indications are that the driver lost control and drove into a tree.

Four other passengers sustained minor injuries and were treated on the scene. Sanparks extends its heartfelt condolences to all the affected and wishes the injured a speedy recovery,” said Phaahla.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
