Missing Khensani found dead
The discovery of the body comes after the deceased's phone was traced to a 22-year-old man.
The body of the missing 21 year old woman, Khensani Sambo from Shabalala Trust has been found in bushes near a school in Jerusalem outside Mganduzweni.
The victim’’s family, community policing forum and police from Hazyview were at the scene.
“We are currently at the scene waiting for the arrival of pathologists,” said Bonga Mhaule a Cpf member.
He explained that the discovery of the body comes after the decead’s phone was traced to a 22 -year old man in Mganduzweni.
“We found the phone and sim cards on him,” said Mhaule.
It is alleged that the suspect confessed to raping and killing the victim with other two suspects.
Sgt Dudu Malibe, spokesperson of Hazyview police confirmed that the victim was found buried in a shallow grave behind a school this afternoon.
