#Imademymark: Votes from three municipalities counted in Mpumalanga

The IEC’s counting boards showed that 47,23 percent of votes had been counted in Mpumalanga so far.

The counting process for 2019 election results is still under way.
The tally of votes from three municipalities; Victor Khanye, Thaba Chweu and Dipaleseng; have been completed.

“We had a successful election with no glitches reported yesterday. We have completed counting for three municipalities,” says Sibusiso Nkosi, IEC spokesperson in Mpumalanga.

At 15:32 today the IEC’s counting boards showed that 51,02 percent of votes had been counted in Mpumalanga so far.
The ANC is leading at 66,9 percent of the votes followed by the EFF 12,8 and the DA at 12,4 percent. The VF Plus is in the fourth position with 3,89 percent and the ACDP is at 0,6 percent. Preliminary results indicate that nationally the ANC is leading at 56,6 percent followed by the DA at 23,4 and the EFF at 9,2 percent.
