Coyotes turns one, so get ready to party

Get your all-white outfits ready for the biggest all-white party set to take place in the province next weekend.

MBOMBELA – Coyotes Lounge will celebrate a year since it opened its doors for revellers. The organisers have pulled out all the stops with a line-up of music heavyweights.

The celebration will begin today with what you can expect from Kalawa Jazmee’s hitmaker, Professor. The performer is popular for hits such as “Jezebel” and the recent track “Brand New”.

Kick-start your weekend and make your way there. The establishment was a vehicle dealership before Coyotes Group, which also owns Nelspruit Shisa Nyama, saw a gap in the market as there was a demand for an urban shisa nyama in town.

They purchased the venue, rezoned and revamped it to what it is now. The lounge has hosted big names in the music industry such as Zodwa Wabantu, who filled the venue to capacity more than once.

Others include award-winning rapper, Shane Eagle, Black Motion, Da Capo, Brenden Praise, DJ Bongz, Mlindo The Vocalist, Vinni Da Vinci, Fistaz Mixwell and others.

Trevor Dee will be on the decks.

“We decided to host this party because it was a good year for us and we wanted to thank the people who supported the business. We also decided that we are going to make it an annual event going forward because we have every reason to celebrate. We are bringing AKA as the main act because he is one of the biggest artists in the country. His track ‘Jika’ is topping the charts at the moment,” said event organiser, Blessing Ledwaba.

AKA will entertain the crowd.

It will be AKA’s first time performing at Coyotes Lounge which excites the team. “He also has not been to Mbombela often which was one of the reasons we booked him and to give people what they want and can enjoy. “We are proud of how far we’ve come. Initially, when we bought the place we wanted to move the Shisa Nyama, but we decided to rather establish a lounge setting which is what it is now.

Rise FM’s Sibo Pilson is part of the line-up.

Preparations are well in order and we can’t wait for next week because it is going to be epic. Tickets are still available and we don’t want to anyone to miss out,” he said. Local DJs will also be on the decks with Trevor Dee, Motion Dee, Dan, Smith Bosso, Tonic T, Trevor K Deep, Sirelo, Fitted, Joy, Gratias Deo, Tonic Deep, Mavicks, Lady 7, Rise FM’s Sibo Pilson, Afrotellus, Mbongza and the MC of the event King Harris.
